What is Green Dotter?

Pick Click areas to draw a zone on screen — Green Dotter clicks inside it at random intervals. Pick Wiggle only and it moves your mouse in a smooth, natural drift. No clicking, no target to set. Both modes pause the moment you touch the mouse yourself.

Two clicks and it runs itself.

Draw an area, hit Start. Go make an actual coffee.

Pick any area on screen

Draw a box over a harmless area where clicks will not send, submit, or change anything important. Five seconds, done.

Let it run quietly

It runs quietly in the background while you focus on something else. You don't need to babysit it or keep the window open.

Clicks on a natural schedule

Random spot, random interval, every time. The timing feels less mechanical and easier to control.

No clicking? Use wiggle mode.

Switch to Wiggle only and Green Dotter moves your mouse in a smooth, human-style pattern — no clicks, no target area, no setup. Just on and gone.

Gets out of your way

Touch the mouse or hit a key and it pauses. Starts again once you stop. You won't notice it's there.

Everything on one screen

Target area, timing, stop condition — all of it visible at once. Nothing hidden in a menu somewhere.

Stops itself

After X clicks, after Y minutes, or at a time you set. Walks away on its own when it's done.

Kill switch, always on

F8 or ⌘⇧. from anywhere. Doesn't matter what's in front of it.

Keeps your machine awake

Screen stays on and sleep mode stays off while your session is running. Simple, controlled, and easy to stop.

Two ways to stay active.

Auto-click a spot on your screen, or just wiggle the mouse to keep your computer awake and your status active. Same app, two modes — here's each.

Green Dotter in Click areas mode, running — green status bar with next-click countdown, click count, and elapsed time
Clicks a spot for you Click areas
Pick a safe area and Green Dotter clicks it at random intervals — clicks so far, next click, and elapsed time stay in view.
Green Dotter in Click areas mode, idle — target area, click interval, stop condition, and system cards
Set up in one screen Click areas
Target, timing, stop condition, and system options — laid out as cards you can take in at a glance.
Green Dotter in Wiggle only mode, running — a wiggle countdown that keeps you active with no clicking
Or just wiggle — no clicks Wiggle only
Pick how long and Green Dotter keeps your mouse and computer active. The timer counts down while you stay present — no targeting, no clicking.
Green Dotter in Wiggle only mode, auto-paused — amber you-took-over status with Resume and Stop
Steps aside when you take over Wiggle only
In wiggle mode, touch your mouse or keyboard and it pauses, then resumes once you stop. Shown in light — there's a dark theme too if you prefer it.

Safe, local and under your control

Green Dotter runs entirely on your computer. It doesn't need an account, doesn't read your messages, and doesn't record your screen.

  • Runs locally on your device
  • No account required
  • Does not read your messages or access files
  • Does not record your screen
  • Uses Accessibility permission on Mac only — so it can perform clicks
  • You choose the area, timing and stop conditions
  • Stop at any time with F8 or ⌘⇧.

Green Dotter is a user-controlled automation tool. Before using any auto clicker or presence tool on a work device, check your employer's policies and make sure your use is allowed.

One clean dashboard. One green button. One small favour off your plate.

Made by one person

If Green Dotter saved you a click or two, I'll take a coffee.

No subscription, no nag screen, no upsell. Green Dotter is free — but coffee is what keeps new versions shipping.
